Mokun Renewable Technology Co., Ltd. Officially Releases Its Inaugural ESG Report
Shanghai, July, 2026 – Shanghai MOKUN Renewable Technology Co., Ltd. has officially become a Class A supplier of ACWA Power (Saudi International Water and Power Company) after passing the comprehensive audit by the global energy giant, based on its self-developed horizontal singleaxis tracker products. This marks another significant milestone in MOKUN’s international strategic expansion.
Headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ACWA Power is a world-leading energy developer founded in 2004 and listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul: 2082). Its business covers three core sectors: power generation, seawater desalination, and green hydrogen. It is the world’s largest private desalination company and a pioneer in green hydrogen. With approximately USD 121 billion in assets under management, ACWA Power operates 109 project assets across 15 countries, including the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Its total installed power capacity reaches 95.7 GW, of which renewable energy accounts for over 54%. Controlled by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia, ACWA Power is responsible for 70% of the Kingdom’s renewable energy target (103 GW) under Vision 2030, making it a key driver of the global energy transition.
To be selected as a Class A supplier, MOKUN Renewable Technology successfully passed ACWA Power’s rigorous four‑tier review process:
Quality Management Audit – A comprehensive assessment of the company’s quality management system to ensure standardized control across the entire process from design to delivery.
Supply Chain Audit – Review of supply chain stability, raw material sourcing capabilities, and delivery assurance systems to guarantee reliable performance for largescale project supply.
Product Certification Documentation Review – Detailed examination of technical parameters, test reports, and thirdparty certifications to confirm that product specifications meet international standards.
CDF Review – Comprehensive evaluation of project costs, design documentation, and other factors to verify the product’s engineering feasibility and economic viability.
During this process, MOKUN’s horizontal singleaxis tracker, designed based on ACWA Power’s Middle East project requirements, passed the world’s most stringent SBP (Schlaich Bergermann Partner) structural certification. SBP is a globally renowned structural engineering consultancy known for its rigorous standards, and this certification fully demonstrates the outstanding engineering quality, safety, and reliability of MOKUN’s tracker products.
Being included in ACWA Power’s Class A Supplier List signifies that MOKUN Renewable Technology’s tracker solutions have earned recognition from a toptier international energy developer. As the lead drafting unit of China’s national standard for photovoltaic trackers, a nationallevel “Specialized and Sophisticated” key “Little Giant” enterprise, MOKUN has deep expertise in the PV tracker sector, offering a full range of singlepile horizontal tracking systems. With manufacturing bases in Shanghai and Chuzhou, Anhui (with an annual capacity of 15 GW), and branch offices in Dubai and Malaysia, the company has extensive experience in Middle Eastern and African projects.
Going forward, MOKUN Renewable Technology will leverage this milestone as a springboard to continually enhance its product technology and service capabilities, further expand into the Middle East and global markets, and contribute Chinamade excellence to the worldwide energy transition.
